Publishing Schedule
Insights in Animal Science follows a semiannual (two issues per year) publication model and operates an Online First workflow.
- Online First: Articles are published online as soon as they have completed peer review, editorial approval, and production. Each Online First article receives a DOI and is citable immediately.
- Issue assignment: Accepted articles published Online First are assigned to the next available regular issue and will appear in one of the two annual issues for the current volume.
- Volume convention: Each calendar year constitutes one volume.
This schedule ensures timely dissemination of research while maintaining the journal’s regular issue structure.
